30 Day Challenge- Day 16

My Worst Habits

Oh boy....

I will admit I have a need to always be right and sometimes I'll push and prod until I get what I want or have someone admit I'm right even though I may not always be haha...it's a bad trait I know.

I hold grudges until the end of time...it's something that Mr. B doesn't like except for the fact that he still doesn't like an ex friend of mine for things she did to me that weren't as huge of a deal of some of his friends (and in most cases it doesn't directly hurt us).

I give and give and give so when someone crosses me or someone I love I get really angry and irritated. And it always seems like someone tries to put me in the middle because they know I'm a bonder and can work the issues out and I usually am still very angry.

And if you don't apologize to me and just act like nothing is wrong I may be nice but you better believe I still remember haha...and will use it against you.

Being lazy...I'll be a cleaning, cooking, laundry doing, weed pulling machine and then when I hit my wall I'll be the laziest S.O.B. ever for weeks...and then I have to pep talk myself into it...I think this has to do with the fact that Mr. B doesn't do the stuff in the house and I have to do it alone which I'm fine with it just doesn't get done as fast or as good as I'd like it.

Children's Place gahhhh

Ok so yesterday someone I work with who has a baby said hey Children's Place has a great summer sale and she had a 15% code.

So I stroll on there not thinking I'll be getting anything...I made a decision to only buy things that were 2.99 haha but honestly they had great sales and heck we all know it's so hot down here in the summer that Ava will really need some stuff you know.

So this is what I got haha

The jean shorts and Khaki Bermuda's can go either either tank top so that's really 6 outfits. Then the pink shoes go with the pink outfit and the dress and who knows what other pink stuff we'll have haha.

Those darling white thongs go with the teal outfit as well as the dress and the swimsuit.

Doesn't everyone need a cute bonnet hat for the sun? And it will go with any swimsuit.

And she NEEDED a 4th of July swimsuit haha

With coupon each item was only 2.54 and at Children's Place shipping is one flat rate of 5 bucks.

I mean how could I pass up such a great deal. I got all of the clothes in either 6-9 or 12 months because I'm afraid she'll be a little plump but just the way I like it...squishy haha

30 Day Challenge- Day 15

Top 5 Things I must do before I die...


I have been very fortunate in going to a few places that I've really wanted to go so I need to think about this.



1. Australia....Mr. B and I have talked about this a lot.

2. Learn ASL




3. Copying Traubulous. I'd like to visit all 50 states

So I went through all of the states I have been to vs I haven't.

Here's the list of where I still need to go:

Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, South and North Dakota, Vermont, West Virgina (I think), Wyoming, Washington, Rhose Island, Oregon, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Nevada, Montana, Massachusetts...and I'd like to see D.C. as well

So so far I've visited 30 of the 50 states plus D.C. .....wow I have some work to do hah


4. Take my children to Italy...and I mean places that Mr. B didn't get to visit that I have as well as Venice that we both haven't seen.

5. Visit an active Volcano in Hawaii

So I mainly blog at work but otherwise I do it in bed while watching tv haha

30 Day Challenge- Day 13

My Ideal Age

hmm this is very interesting to think about.

As much as I hate to say it I think I'd like between 30-35.
Because then I'll have had all my babies (with the grace of God we'll be able to have and afford more then just Ava so she has someone) and we'll have been settled in hopefully new careers for at least H back to making what he's making now and probably way more. And our savings and retirement will look great and we'll be able to travel a little more.

And I think moms who are in their early 30's are just hot and that's when people I know started having fun again.

So yah that's what I'm going with haha

30 Day Challenge- Day 12

My Biggest Regret

You know this really is a tough one because I really try and live my life with no regrets but that's a little cliche isn't it?! haha

You know through all the crazy shit I dealt with growing up that's not my regret.

Mine is continually going back to someone who messed with my emotions and was mentally abusive.

It was ok for him to be out cheating on me but the moment I go out and have fun (not cheating or doing anything sexually) when we were broken up I was the whore who ruined everything.

I know that he broke me down just like my mom did and that's why I stayed and I wish I had enough confidence to have left his ass for good instead of the one time I did.

But to this day apparently I'm the one that got away bla bla bla and he's continued his pattern of cheating and moving on as normal.

So I think just being played like a fool and being so fragile and vulnerable that I'd be willing to do anything for someone who didn't deserve me was my biggest regret.

But I think it's a great learning experience and it's taught me a lot about control in my relationships (granted you can't control when someone cheats but you can control your self respect) and that is something I will make sure I teach Ava.

Where I live...

I live in Denham Springs, Louisiana...which is a country suburb of Baton Rouge the state capital.

Home of LSU Geaux Tigers!

Most people are familiar with New Orleans...specifically Bourbon St.

We used to live about 20 minutes from downtown and yes it was fun but we love where we are now.

We are known for of course our seafood....shrimp, oysters, and crawfish
Also known for our bayou's and oil

We're the only state in the country to use parishes instead of counties

We're known for growing rice, Cotton, soybeans, as well as salt, oil, and natural gas production, and fishing.
