Reminiscing

So I loaded my Ipod with more cd's last night in preparation for our trip (T minus 43 hours). Well sometimes you just don't want to listen to the whole cd so I love the shuffle function. And boy are they bringing back some serious memories.

Like old boyfriends, college, Tampa...oh Tampa how I love thee...I swear if we ever get a chance to move somewhere else I would love Tampa. I think there is work for Mr. B there...but he'll never leave good ol' Louisiane!

I don't know you just know how some music takes you to a place and time...even the smell and taste? And you can remember exactly what you were thinking and feeling at that moment? Yah totally there with all kinds of music from James Blunt to Kenny Chesney.

Most of it brings up some pretty bitter times but you know I can honestly look back now and smile. Because I've learned a lot about life and about myself.

This post really doesn't have a lot of meaning haha but hey I was thinking this so I posted.

So Mr. B is driving me crazy with packing. He is a pack rat! I know he won't wear some of the bottoms he's bringing ugh.

What I do know is that I've gotten way to big for my britches...literally. A lot of shirts and pants/shorts don't fit me and I have no idea if I'll even have enough clothes. Maybe that will bet he perfect time to buy over there hehe.

But I have realized that even doing the DVD 4 times a week I'm just not going to see the results I want so when I get back especially since I now have an Ipod I'm joining the gym by my house so I can use the elliptical. I wish we had room for one at our house and I'd just do it there but no luck.

Well I'm going to end this thing before someone dies from boredom.

Oh and I miss Parle so much! It was so sad leaving him at Uncle Kevin's on Sunday. He was laying on the couch and just kind of looked at us like "Well where are you going now?" He has no idea it's going to be for 17 whole days. He's not going to remember us :( Well he will but I just feel so bad for him.

Oh well at least he'll have Mattox to play with and that will keep him company. I almost cried and probably will at some point.

Oh no a song just came on that reminded me of the horrendous ex that put his hands on me yuck. Skip!

Today's Talk

So I can't divulge too much for the sake of getting in trouble but I just wanted to talk about couples and marriages and fighting.

If you are that lucky couple that barely ever fights well that's awesome and not saying Mr. B and I fight a lot but generally we're going to get in a tiff or two a week. Nothing usually serious...that ones saved for once a month and because we're both so stubborn by the end of it we're laughing because we have no idea what in the hell we were fighting about anyways.

But as Mr. B and I were talking about some friends we were like why is it such a faux pas to talk about fighting. I mean if you tell someone "yah we got into this drag down knock out fight" your friends automatically say "oh no are you guys ok" their first thought is doomsville. Why can people talk about political affiliation or money which to me just isn't something that should be discussed with many folks due to the controversy but I can't say "Hey Mr. B was being a huge dick yesterday and I need to talk about this".....without being judged or gossiped about?

I mean couples fight. So I'm helping out a friend with an issue and her beaux was like well so and so don't fight...(which is completely wrong because how could they not since the girl is a complete and utter biznatch and he's a man with well no balls because the biznatch has them) but it's like why do we think some people don't fight and have the perfect marriage...is there such a thing?

But anyways the way some folks talk to each other just astounds and appals me. If Mr. B ever called me a curse word he'd probably get popped in the face...no lie....I'm not too proud to say I'll be the enforcer in the domestic violence case. all joking aside (and if you couldn't tell I was joking) we used to be pretty lethal when I just didn't know if we'd make it. Looking back it was the stress of a wedding and buying a house with issue after issue that escalated our hard times and lucky for us it only lasted about 2 months. But we said some nasty things...we then went on vacation and that was the best thing for us. We got away from everything and was able to find out why we fell in love with each other in the first place. And we talked about our fights and we set rules....that maybe funny to some but it has worked for us.

No FU's and no F off's! No name calling of any kind except Mr. B says I can call him an asshole. Which I don't use too often just for the juicy ones.

But I told him he can call me an asshole too haha.

But no other words. And if someone slips the other person immediately gets to say "you just said this to me and that's not right and we're not continuing until you apologize" and the person who said it already knew as that diarrhea of the mouth was coming out that they were wrong...and when we apologize we generally are much more rationale and can get whatever we're fighting about resolved.

But regardless do you think that in the future especially with marriage that it will work with name calling all the time? I think it will bring down someones self esteem so much that, that person will walk...

I just don't see the point. You wonder if it's really them not wanting to be together or staing in it because their old even if they don't want to.

I don't really have much of a point to this haha. But just thinking.

It's That Time Again

So everything was washed away in the dark hole of the Internet that I just wrote looking on how to do the darn strike through on here. Guess what?! I figured it out...aren't you happy?

Anyways so here's my confession...

I want a baby. I want to be a mommy so bad. Yes I'm only 24 years 9 months :) old but Mr. B is 32 going on 33 and I would really like 3 kids...and he's no spring chicken...heck I'm not either.

I just want to dive into that pregnancy pool and drink more water then a dehydrated dog in August in Louisiana!

The other night Mr. B and I were joking around and I said "Let's make a baby!" He just looked at me and started laughing....well hmphh I guess that means no.

And I think he'll be more open when we pay off the one credit card that will be June/Julyish. Then if he next few commissions are good we can pay off the other one and be Credit Card Debt Free.....say it with me everyone YIPEEEEEE! It's been such a long and strenuous road but we're finally there...the light at the end of the tunnel is almost blinding.

And we'd have things paid off a lot sooner if we didn't have that little wonderful thing known as Europe coming up! But you know what we're not going to pinch our pennies because it will most likely be the last time we get to go until our kids are about grown!

And if we don't spend as much as we thought then we'll come home and put that on the cards.

But then if he still isn't up for the baby making maybe I'll just trick coax him into the right direction with a Bottle of FireFly and some Miller Lite lot of love...:)

He says well we agreed that you wouldn't get pregnant during football season. Well I hate to break it to him but most likely I will be pregnant during some point of football season. I mean let's face it if LSU makes a bowl (which they most likely will make one) that would go to the end of December possibly early January. Then the first game of the season is usually Labor Day Weekend. Ummm well a baby takes 9 months sooo umm I'd either have to get pregnant the last week in December and have that baby a week before opening day!

I told him I'm already prepared to stay at home with the baby or take the baby with us tailgating for a bit (being responsible of course) and then going home to watch the game while he has fun.

And it would be best if I got pregnant this summer so that I wouldn't be full on in my 3rd trimester waddling around in this atrocious lovely weather in the summer. Now that's saying that if we did start trying this summer we'd be fortunate and lucky enough to conceive right away.

But I digress this baby talk has got me feeling like that annoying friend who just won't shut up about something you really have no interest in. HAHA

Well I just can't wait for our vacation. You know it's odd the closer our vacations get the more Mr. B and I fight. I think it's just because the vacations are always well deserved and long overdue and we're excited, and nervous about leaving work etc. But it really will be here before we know it.

I'm very thankful uncle Kevin has offered to watch Parle so we don't have to put him in the kennel. That just would've been way to long of a visit in there and I know he'll get walks and be able to play with Maddox too.

Well Mr. B had to go out of town today. Bummer but honestly he probably won't go out next week and then the following week he won't be able to since that's when we leave. So hey I can deal!

I just feel if you're still reading this you're hoping it's going to get better and quite frankly it's not hah so I'm going to put you out of your misery.

Short and Sweet

Well I only have a few more minutes before I leave to go home for the day whoot...but once I get home I have to work out so eh.

This past weekend was fun. Our friend Kevin came in and brought his dog Maddox. Parle finally has learned how to play...well really it's "Hey Maddox (English Bulldog) try and get your slow fat ass to run as fast I me (has greyhound in him)...we'll basically do figure 8's sound like fun?! Whereas Maddox like's to rough house and play tug o war.

Saturday we did the back flower beds and even though it was hot they really look nice! I still have to get 2 more flowers since one of our beds turned out to be bigger then we thought and we have to buy pavers this weekend...plus I need to find a decorative hose holder thingy.

We then went to the Drunken Fish for dinner and it was surprisingly really yummy and fixed my Sushi craving.

Yesterday was a relaxing day and I made Cincinnati Chili which was yummers.

This week hopefully won't be too bad...we're eating two different kinds of leftovers today and tomorrow then I'll head to the store for the rest of the week.

And the capri's I had to take back to Kohl's of course they didn't have my size again so I think I'll have to order from the net. But I did buy a pair of jean capri's haha. But Mr. B of course got more. I don't know why he always says I get everything.

Well about 2.5 weeks til Europe I really can't wait! It's going to be so fun.

This post really is boring...sorry for whoever reads it..I'm just so tired I don't have an ounce of wittiness in me.

I'm out dudes
