Girls with Santa
So we went to Bass Pro Shop to get our free picture with Santa. The girls didn't get an afternoon nap so I was worried. I was waiting to get my time card when two friends ahead of me took one each. The girl said they only needed one and promised them tey'd each get a chance with Santa alone. The one friend told the other to put it back but she didn't want to. It was for 3 and it was about 2:15. Well you guessed it she wouldn't and took the last one which irritated me. So I got 3:30. I was first in line for it but probably didn't see Santa until 3:45. I was worried the girls would get irritated but they did great. No crying or scary faces with Santa. Santa let us down because he was looking down! It was a great pic of the girls. I may take them back when they start having Santa there earlier and do lunch. Maybe Mr. B will go with.

Isaac
Preparing for our 1st hurricane bleh. See I moved down here 3.5 months after Katrina hit and then things were fairly calm until Gustav however we were in NYC on vacay and just had an extended trip. Then Lee last year was nothing.
And it's different when you have kids especially a tiny baby.
So we bought a generator le sigh
They were out and getting more in later. Because I'm smart like that I told Mr. B buy it and pick it up later.
Well I'll want to see what I'm buying. Umm they don't have displays? Oh duh. Mmmhmm haha
I went to hellmart. Madhouse! No water. Luckily I had a 28 pk of water brand new.
Tried to figure out what I could cook on the side burner on our propane grill in case power is out. Yes we have a fridge that we'll power but you don't want to open it.
After long ass wait in line and crying kids I go to leave and the jackasses put a shit ton of water out.
I actually said out loud "that infuriates me!". Haha
Two older workers who were eating banana's in subway (must have been their break or hadn't started yet) said they'd watch the girls but even self checkout lines were so long I couldn't wait since I wa in charge of going back home to fill up gas cans and find water.
I kindly thanked them and gtfo.
My little market which I love ha water fyi :).
So now I'm trying to get all my laundry done, clean the house, and transfer our garage fridge to the inside fridge yay!

We're going to...
The beach! Did you think I was going to say parents again? Haha no!
Mr. B says no more. I told him I'd be open to trying for a boy but I wouldn't want to try for another until A 2.0 was at least a year and would prefer them to be no more than 3 years apart which would make me 30. By then we'd hopefully have a bigger house built. However that's IF we try for another.
Anywho we go to the beach in 2.5 weeks weee! We're meeting up with Mrs. B in law and bro in law.
The place has a cool lazy river and kiddy splash park. We're on the bay side but can access the beach.
It's going to be nuts getting everything for a 21 month old and 4 year old

Back
Ok I am determined to get this blog back. I've been busy getting in the groove of things. It has ben great and I can't believe Allison is 2.5 months already!
This blog will definitely be about the girls but will also be about our lives. So that will include decluttering and cleaning my house, lots of pics of the girls, and even some recipes.

She's here!
I'll give birth story later but Allison was born on Thursday April 12th at 8:45am. She was 6lbs 10.3oz and 19.5 inches long.
She's been in the NICU since Thursday afternoon ad the doctor called mento say that in about 30-45 minutes I'll have my sweet pea all to myself in my room!
I can't wait. It's really hard to have a bond like this and almost feels like I haven't given birth yet.
This as has been terrible last night and this morning. I think I may take the suppository ugh

36 week update
This is late but oh well.
Fluid went up again. From 29 to 30.1. She still isn't concerned with the amoumt although I've read that onve you hit 30 you become a severe poly case.
She did say not to stress you out but...
Ok come on when your doctor says that you're going to stress.
That if my water breaks immediately come in. Don't go home to get your bag or wait for contractions because the cord could prolapse and we don't want that...well no shit haha
Fyi my bag is in the car. They keep saying so much hair so I do need to out a cute barrette in my bag too.
My cervix was still closed but was soft and squishy so that's good.
I dislike the internals so much. I got tested for strep b so I'll find out the results on monday. Last time I wasn't and it won't matter much sinve I'll be hooked uo to an IV for section unless i am extremely dilated when I go in and then who knows.
Can't believe today marks 3 weeks exactly that the section is scheduled for. And of course she could come earlier. But if she doesn't come before next Friday she needs to hold off until the 16th so my doc can be back.

I'm back
Via my cell phone. It's too hard at work and at this point I'm exhausted when I get home. I feel bad that my weeks have been neglected for Allison but trust me her room and stuff hasn't been.
I swear this child has no room and she's making movements that are strange that I never had with Ava.
Tuesday I go in for my 35 week since we rescheduled and I went at 33 weeks instead of 32. I also will have another ultrasound because even though my fluid went down a little it's still high. And judging from my stomach either I'll still have high flyid or Allison went on a growing spree. She was 3lbs 14oz at 32 weeks so basically 4lbs. The note said she waa measuring behond but when I looked she was on point. But now it will be interesting to see what she's weighong in at.
This weekend we're putting up wall decals and I just ordered my belly casting kit. Last time I did it at 36 weeks with Ava so hopefully Allison stays in until then!

Weekly Update Week 28
Allison will be in red
How far along? 28 weeks ... 7 months....3rd Trimester weeeeeeeeeee
How big is baby? over 15 inches (head to feet) and probably over two pounds
Weight gain/loss? I see the doc tomorrow and that's what I'm going by but I'm guessing about 25-30lbs. I think it will depend on if I have poly which I think we'll be able to truly figure out at this u/s...I think I do though ugh so it is confirmed...I'm a fatass. Total gain...29lbs folks!!!! Honestly I don't understand it. I eat fairly healthy (only indulging here and there), don't overeat, and drink tons of water. For my weight before I should only gain 5 more lbs and I highly doubt that will happen. Boo
Maternity clothes? exclusively
Stretchies? The boobs are there for life haha...and I can see the lower stomach ones a tiny bit but so far so good....still just the boobs...knock on wood
Sleep? I have been battling this sinus infection (hope that's what it is) for 2 weeks now...no matter how much I blow my nose it's still stuffed up so I tend to wake up a lot from that. great until I have to pee which is now about 5 times a night and then my constant fear on not being on my left side enough
Best moment this week? I will say it will be tomorrow seeing my lil or big girl....Hearing my boo's heartbeat at the docs
Movement? Same as her big sister....all the time. It's comical to even do fetal kick counts because she gets 10 in within 5 minutes haha
Food cravings? I would love some food from back home but otherwise nothing special...nothing really
Food aversions/foods that make me sick? none...none whoot
Gender? Another Girl!!! Girl!!!
Labor signs? Braxton Hicks...Braxton Hicks but last night I was awoken with what felt like the worst cramps ever but more so on the right side...it lasted about 1.5 minutes and I was able to fall back asleep...it kind of freaked me out though!
Birth Prep? Nothing honestly...I doubt my doc will let me schedule my section this soon but I'm going to ask her when I can. I really would like to not tell anyone and I mean nobody other than Mr. B of course. I think that would be special since everyone knows we're having a girl and knows the name and knows I'm having a RCS and so where is the fun guessing?! That way we can go in calmly without having 50 bajillion people texting and calling and enjoy her in peace and later that day I'll announce on FB and ask that we have no visitors that day since they'll be checking on us so much and they can come the next day. I'm also going to ask my doc if I can only stay two nights and not three. nothing this week...I'm exhausted
Belly button in or out? Oh totally out this go round...It’s out all the way some days and some it's halvsies
What I miss? Having energy and not hurting. Especially by the end of the work day and playing with Ava and cooking and getting her ready for bed I'm exhausted by 8 and my body hurts a lot...sleep and having a normal back
What I am looking forward to next week? Next week...hmm I've secured a babysitter to watch Ava next Saturday while we paint...haha I'm actually going to try and do one coat one night while Mr. B is out so that it has time to dry and tape off so he can immediately do the ceiling and then I can do the next coat which he can help me with and if I don't get to doing the trim no biggie I can always do that one night while Ava sleeps. But we need to get the room painted next week so the following weekend I can shampoo the carpets...I think I'll have to do Allison's room twice and the hallway twice for sure....It’s my last week in the 20s! Then it’s really in the home stretch!
Milestones? Same as Ava! 85-90% viability!! 3rd Trimester!
New things this week? Yikes! Apparently from this week on, baby gains 1/2 a pound a week.
Weekly Wisdom? Nothing...seriously am I that mean or that relaxed and people think I do such a great job with Ava that they don't feel the need to give advice??? haha relax when you need to...I need to take this to heart because my f'n feet are killing me and I have them propped up right now
Belly/Body Changes? My belly is crazy big but that's what's tipping me off for sure that I probably do have poly. No swelling which is great. But my hips and sciatic hurt much more this time, and the breathing is harder sooner than last time ....Bigger everyday...oy vey....and my back is starting to fill out a lot

Negative
Weee Negative for GD. So that's one reason crossed off the list for the extra fluid. We'll see next week if it has increased and then I'll chat with my doctor.
I know this it's becoming harder to breathe and with Ava it didn't start for at least another month, I know it's a side effect of having Poly but I've also had sinus issues where I can't breathe out of my nose at all then having trouble breathing regularly that almost sends me into panic attacks.

Gestational Testing
Well I had my GD testing on Wednesday...just waiting for the results. I wish I remembered how long it took for them to call me with it last time.
Last time I wasn't as concerned because I hadn't been diagnosed with poly yet and even though I haven't been diagnosed technically with poly yet (at least I don't think I have) I do have a little extra fluid and I just want to rule it out.
I would love to hear back today but don't know if that's in the cards, but don't think it was more than a couple of days so hopefully I'll hear on Monday if I don't hear today.

How far along? 26 Weeks
How big is baby? About 14 inches in length and weighs about 2lbs...
Weight gain/loss? My scale's battery is dead and I'm too lazy to replace it haha but I want to wait until at the doctors anyways....Still waiting to be weighed via my doctors scale...I did weigh myself at home and my weight was about what it was at the one doctors 2 weeks ago so I think her scale was wrong.
Maternity clothes? Pretty much all unless some things fit that aren't...All unless dresses
Stretchies? Same ones...can barely see the stomach ones that I got late with Ava, the boobs as usual....just on the boobs boooooo
Sleep? It's been rough. I not only have had the worst sciatic pain ever where no position helps but I have a sinus/upper respiratory infection and I wake not being able to breathe and coughing a lot....The past few nights were great even if I got up a couple of times to go to the bathroom...I think this was because Mr. B wasn't hope to be snoring and tossing and turning haha..I think I may have to resort to sleeping in the guest room.
Best moment this week? Another week closer to everything going well. Ali moved more than Ava did I swear....Another week down! Ava moving around like crazy
Movement? I thought Ava moved a lot...shoot Ali is surpassing her! seriously I think my girl may end up being a boxer! She is hitting/kicking/punching all over all the time. And she really dislikes it when I move from right to left on my side at night haha
Food cravings? I want some Rudy's Enchilada's and now really am considering having someone send them via dry ice to me once I figure out how much that will be haha....I've been bringing my lunch to work and just want a really good burger or Chinese buffet...something! nothing out of the ordinary but soda which really sucks
Food aversions/foods that make me sick? Nothing! nothing really whoot
Gender? Girl again! GIRL!!!!!
Labor signs? Just some Braxton Hicks...none..I have been having a little tightness but honestly I don't know if it's Braxton Hicks or not.
An outer-innie? Both but becoming more of an outtie with each passing day...both
What I miss? Sleeping...sleeping, and honestly drinking
What I am looking forward to? Uncle Ben is coming this weekend to get the guest bed so looking forward to that. And he actually has a nice shampooer not like the one we got that was broken...so once I get Ali's room cleared of the other stuff then I will pick next weekend maybe to shampoo everything! Well Uncle Ben couldn't come so looking forward to when someone can move the crap out and I can touch up paint and put together the furniture. We did get the shampooer so I'm going to shampoo her room around the two big items.

Weekly Update Week 25
How far along? 25 Weeks
How big is baby? About 13.5 inches in length and weighs 1 and half pounds. (My child already weighed in at 1.5 lbs last week per the U/S haha so she is probably a little plumper this week
Weight gain/loss? At last week's appointment I am up I believe it was 18lbs. Had a little extra amniotic fluid so I'll get another U/S at 7 months. My scale needs a new battery and I'm just plain too lazy to change it so I'll only go by the doctors scale.
Ok I almost shit myself ok...no lie. At my 5 month I was up 7lbs and at 6 month I was up a total of like 19lbs but I went to a different doctor on a different scale. I have a serious hard time believing that I gained 12lbs in a month. Yes my belly is far bigger and the babe did some serious gaining and I'm sure everything else did too but even Mr. B agrees that I haven't really gained weight in my legs or arms so belly and boobs don't make up 12lbs in a month. So I'm going to pay close attention when I go in for my 7 month at my normal doctors scale because I don't think it's that high.
Maternity clothes? Exclusively unless I have things that I can wear that are cute that aren't maternity. some and then just the dresses. I won some khaki capri's and a cute maternity shirt on Ebay and need to find another shirt or two to win
Stretchies? The boobs will forever be there I believe...the stomach ones can't really see which is good. just on the boobs boooooo
Sleep? Great until Ava wakes up crying at 5am and doesn't even want to go back down with us. getting worse. If I'm not up going to the bathroom literally 3 times in the middle of the night I'm constantly flipping from left to right and have 3 pillows trying to help me
Best moment this week? Getting Ali's comforter that I won on Ebay. It is perfect! Getting to another week and Uncle Ben coming to get the rest of the stuff out of Ava's room!
Movement? All.The.Time. seriously I think my girl may end up being a boxer! She is hitting/kicking/punching all over all the time. And she really dislikes it when I move from right to left on my side at night haha
Food cravings? Nothing out of the ordinary except Miracle Whip on sandwiches sounds so good. I've always preferred MW over Mayo anyways so that's nothing new, but I made my lunch last night and seriously wanted to make a sammy for last night and breakfast this morning haha I can't wait until I eat lunch. nothing out of the ordinary but soda which really sucks

Gender? Another Girl GIRL!!!!!
Labor signs? None. Getting some intense Braxton Hicks but just a few times a day. none..I have been having a little tightness but honestly I don't know if it's Braxton Hicks or not.
Birth Prep? Just setting up our plans to everyone that thinks they have a plan for us and of course having to make sure not to hurt feelings. But I want Ava to go to daycare during the day to keep her routine unless Mr. B brings her to the hospital, and at night he will go home and have some time with her so she can have that familiarity as well as bonding with him for two days will help when I come home and can't just grab her and play either because of taking care of Ali or bedridden recovering from my section. I really want this to be a private family things for a couple of days with no visitors. And when visitors comes just keep it short. We had our hospital tour last week and I'm so excited about the location we have picked! I'm going to start my pre-natal yoga this week as well
An outer-innie? Oh half is out and it won't be long until the whole thing is...both
What I miss? Sleeping on my back or stomach. Since I breast fed up until like last week haha I have not slept on my stomach in almost 2 years and that sucks. sleeping, and honestly drinking
What I am looking forward to? Uncle Ben coming to get the guest room next weekend so we can finally get things organized in Ali's room and start patching holes and prepping for paint! Getting to do the little things in Ava's room this weekend and in about 2 weeks putting together her furniture!
Milestones? Every week is a great week. Viability Day was a great day but this week is just one step closer to her being able to really survive with no long term side effects
New things this week? Just a ton of movement from Ali. Can definitely see her movements from outside too. Ava is moving so much but last night I had my first lucid dream of the birth and what she looked like. And honestly after I was having it and had her she woke me up at 3:30 kicking the shit out of me which she's never up at 3:30...odd!

6 Month Appointment
Well I go in and get weighed and have gained 11lbs in a month.
So when she comes in I tell her my fears about the chance of having poly again. She said you know last time we had to do an US at 6 months (which I forgot because Ava moved around so much at the 5 month that they didn't get to see all the chambers in the heart and had me do another).
She said I was normal but at high normal then and that I got it a little later. And I had gained 19lbs then I think it was.
Well this time I've gained a total of 18lbs...which I said yah I gained about 41 with Ava due to the extra fluid and she said well around here that's actually the average (because we have heavy set women and folks who eat a lot of fried food) and I had told her I was carefully watching this past month because I knew last time I had a huge increase.
So she said yah we'll monitor it but this could just be a big weight gain month for you in pregnancies.
So she found the heartbeat after a minute of Ali kicking and punching everywhere and then measured me. She said I was measuring "a little big" which she didn't say (I should've asked) and sent me for an ultrasound.
I told the US tech about why I was there and that I had it last time and I haven't had my GD test yet but last time passed with flying colors.
She never did say I had high or low fluid and had me sit in the room while she got the report together which was strange.
Then I had to take it to my doc and I almost read it (should've) but gave it to the nurse who quickly skimmed it but I had to wait on the doc.
She looked at it and kind of laughed and said yah....you do have a little higher amount but nothing extreme that we need to worry about right now...she wants me to do another US right before my 7 month appointment to see if it goes up or stays the same.
The biggest thing is it going up.
I have to go in for my GD test in 2 weeks and hoping I pass...
It's truly crazy that only 1-3% of women get this and generally it's due to GD and it's even more rare to not have anything wrong with me or the baby and get it in another pregnancy...like it's not something that once you get you'll get with every pregnancy.

Allison was moving and grooving though and her HB was strong at 149. I think her profile does look like Ava but looks much more like me than Mr. B this go round.
She's measuring at 1lb 4.5 oz and a month ago she was only 9oz. So that's about 11oz gain...we all know US's aren't always accurate so I'm guessing she was more like 11-12 last month like Ava and probably gained about 8-9oz.

She's measuring at 1lb 4.5 oz and a month ago she was only 9oz. So that's about 11oz gain...we all know US's aren't always accurate so I'm guessing she was more like 11-12 last month like Ava and probably gained about 8-9oz.

Weekly Update Week 24
How far along? 24 Weeks Anything in RED means with Allison
How big is baby? About 11.8 inches and my child is 1.5lbs hah (Same with Allison)
Weight gain/loss? Funny reading back because at my 5 month appointment I had gained 7lbs and this appointment I gained 11lbs...so I'm up to 18lbs......Ok I almost shit myself ok...no lie. At my 5 month I was up 7lbs and at 6 month I was up a total of like 19lbs but I went to a different doctor on a different scale. I have a serious hard time believing that I gained 12lbs in a month. Yes my belly is far bigger and the babe did some serious gaining and I'm sure everything else did too but even Mr. B agree's that I haven't really gained weight in my legs or arms so belly and boobs don't make up 12lbs in a month. So I'm going to pay close attention when I go in for my 7 month at my normal doctors scale because I don't think it's that high.
Maternity clothes? Pretty much all maternity unless I have things that fit for maternity that technically aren't. some and then just the dresses. I won some khaki capri's and a cute maternity shirt on Ebay and need to find another shirt or two to win
Stretchies? So far looks like just the ones that have always been there.....just on the boobs boooooo
Sleep? So far so good. I think this is due to being exhausted with work and running after Ava haha....getting worse. If I'm not up going to the bathroom literally 3 times in the middle of the night I'm constantly flipping from left to right and have 3 pillows trying to help me
Best moment this week? Seeing my baby girl again unexpectedly!!! Seeing my baby girl again and knowing her heart is perfect!
Movement? haha Ali is moving just like her big sister!!! seriously I think my girl may end up being a boxer! She is hitting/kicking/punching all over all the time
Food cravings? Rudy's Taco's Enchilada's...I'm actually looking into having my friend ship some via dry ice since no disgruntled employee's have put the recipe online! nothing out of the ordinary but soda which really sucks
Food aversions/foods that make me sick? Nothing finally! nothing really whoot
Gender? Another Girl! GIRL!!!!!
Labor signs? none none
Birth Prep? We're not doing another tour since we just did one 1.5 years ago haha and I'm having a RCS so I don't need to put down on paper what I want. We have our hospital tour this Sunday (hopefully TD Bonnie doesn't cancel that) and I have put my birth plan on paper
An outer-innie? It's about flat these days...poor Ava loves to poke at it and I go "boop boop boop" and she tries to repeat me but these days she can't put her finger in there haha both
What I miss? Moving quickly and keeping up with Ava....sushi sleeping, and honestly drinking
What I am looking forward to? Getting my house organized (a.k.a. throwing shit out), taking and fingers crossed passing my GD test, and getting the nursery started. Viability Day which is tomorrow and getting Ava's room in order
Milestones? Viability! Viability Day whooot
New things this week? Allison really has kicked it up a notch with the kicking and punching all over! And I have popped big time. Ava really is aware of when Mr. B talks with her and when I tap her she taps back...so cool...oh and it was so cool when she would kick me and I could feel it and see it on the US haha
Weekly Wisdom? None! It's seriously the craziest thing! I don't know maybe everyone thought I have handled things so well with Ava and so far that they don't feel the need? Maybe they're scared of me haha Honestly I really haven't gotten any but I'm starting to get tons of folks asking me when I'm due
Emotions? Eh I say 80% in check...these past few months just have been some stressful times and I'm dealing with some things emotionally trying to navigate and it's getting tough and I'm afraid a big blow up break down is coming....In check again yesssss.....
