She's here!

I'll give birth story later but Allison was born on Thursday April 12th at 8:45am. She was 6lbs 10.3oz and 19.5 inches long.

She's been in the NICU since Thursday afternoon ad the doctor called mento say that in about 30-45 minutes I'll have my sweet pea all to myself in my room!

I can't wait. It's really hard to have a bond like this and almost feels like I haven't given birth yet.

This as has been terrible last night and this morning. I think I may take the suppository ugh

36 week update

This is late but oh well.

Fluid went up again. From 29 to 30.1. She still isn't concerned with the amoumt although I've read that onve you hit 30 you become a severe poly case.

She did say not to stress you out but...
Ok come on when your doctor says that you're going to stress.

That if my water breaks immediately come in. Don't go home to get your bag or wait for contractions because the cord could prolapse and we don't want that...well no shit haha

Fyi my bag is in the car. They keep saying so much hair so I do need to out a cute barrette in my bag too.

My cervix was still closed but was soft and squishy so that's good.

I dislike the internals so much. I got tested for strep b so I'll find out the results on monday. Last time I wasn't and it won't matter much sinve I'll be hooked uo to an IV for section unless i am extremely dilated when I go in and then who knows.

Can't believe today marks 3 weeks exactly that the section is scheduled for. And of course she could come earlier. But if she doesn't come before next Friday she needs to hold off until the 16th so my doc can be back.

I'm back

Via my cell phone. It's too hard at work and at this point I'm exhausted when I get home. I feel bad that my weeks have been neglected for Allison but trust me her room and stuff hasn't been.

I swear this child has no room and she's making movements that are strange that I never had with Ava.

Tuesday I go in for my 35 week since we rescheduled and I went at 33 weeks instead of 32. I also will have another ultrasound because even though my fluid went down a little it's still high. And judging from my stomach either I'll still have high flyid or Allison went on a growing spree. She was 3lbs 14oz at 32 weeks so basically 4lbs. The note said she waa measuring behond but when I looked she was on point. But now it will be interesting to see what she's weighong in at.

This weekend we're putting up wall decals and I just ordered my belly casting kit. Last time I did it at 36 weeks with Ava so hopefully Allison stays in until then!

Weekly Update Week 28

How far along? 28 weeks ... 7 months....3rd Trimester weeeeeeeeeee

How big is baby? over 15 inches (head to feet) and probably over two pounds

Weight gain/loss? I see the doc tomorrow and that's what I'm going by but I'm guessing about 25-30lbs. I think it will depend on if I have poly which I think we'll be able to truly figure out at this u/s...I think I do though ugh so it is confirmed...I'm a fatass. Total gain...29lbs folks!!!! Honestly I don't understand it. I eat fairly healthy (only indulging here and there), don't overeat, and drink tons of water. For my weight before I should only gain 5 more lbs and I highly doubt that will happen. Boo

Maternity clothes? exclusively

Stretchies? The boobs are there for life haha...and I can see the lower stomach ones a tiny bit but so far so good....still just the boobs...knock on wood

Sleep? I have been battling this sinus infection (hope that's what it is) for 2 weeks now...no matter how much I blow my nose it's still stuffed up so I tend to wake up a lot from that. great until I have to pee which is now about 5 times a night and then my constant fear on not being on my left side enough

Best moment this week? I will say it will be tomorrow seeing my lil or big girl....Hearing my boo's heartbeat at the docs

Movement? Same as her big sister....all the time. It's comical to even do fetal kick counts because she gets 10 in within 5 minutes haha

Food cravings? I would love some food from back home but otherwise nothing special...nothing really

Food aversions/foods that make me sick? none...none whoot

Gender? Another Girl!!! Girl!!!

Labor signs? Braxton Hicks...Braxton Hicks but last night I was awoken with what felt like the worst cramps ever but more so on the right side...it lasted about 1.5 minutes and I was able to fall back asleep...it kind of freaked me out though!

Birth Prep? Nothing honestly...I doubt my doc will let me schedule my section this soon but I'm going to ask her when I can. I really would like to not tell anyone and I mean nobody other than Mr. B of course. I think that would be special since everyone knows we're having a girl and knows the name and knows I'm having a RCS and so where is the fun guessing?! That way we can go in calmly without having 50 bajillion people texting and calling and enjoy her in peace and later that day I'll announce on FB and ask that we have no visitors that day since they'll be checking on us so much and they can come the next day. I'm also going to ask my doc if I can only stay two nights and not three. nothing this week...I'm exhausted

Belly button in or out? Oh totally out this go round...It’s out all the way some days and some it's halvsies

What I miss? Having energy and not hurting. Especially by the end of the work day and playing with Ava and cooking and getting her ready for bed I'm exhausted by 8 and my body hurts a lot...sleep and having a normal back

What I am looking forward to next week? Next week...hmm I've secured a babysitter to watch Ava next Saturday while we paint...haha I'm actually going to try and do one coat one night while Mr. B is out so that it has time to dry and tape off so he can immediately do the ceiling and then I can do the next coat which he can help me with and if I don't get to doing the trim no biggie I can always do that one night while Ava sleeps. But we need to get the room painted next week so the following weekend I can shampoo the carpets...I think I'll have to do Allison's room twice and the hallway twice for sure....It’s my last week in the 20s! Then it’s really in the home stretch!

Milestones? Same as Ava! 85-90% viability!! 3rd Trimester!

New things this week? Yikes! Apparently from this week on, baby gains 1/2 a pound a week.

Weekly Wisdom? Nothing...seriously am I that mean or that relaxed and people think I do such a great job with Ava that they don't feel the need to give advice??? haha relax when you need to...I need to take this to heart because my f'n feet are killing me and I have them propped up right now

Belly/Body Changes? My belly is crazy big but that's what's tipping me off for sure that I probably do have poly. No swelling which is great. But my hips and sciatic hurt much more this time, and the breathing is harder sooner than last time ....Bigger everyday...oy vey....and my back is starting to fill out a lot

Negative

Weee Negative for GD. So that's one reason crossed off the list for the extra fluid. We'll see next week if it has increased and then I'll chat with my doctor.

I know this it's becoming harder to breathe and with Ava it didn't start for at least another month, I know it's a side effect of having Poly but I've also had sinus issues where I can't breathe out of my nose at all then having trouble breathing regularly that almost sends me into panic attacks.

Gestational Testing

Well I had my GD testing on Wednesday...just waiting for the results. I wish I remembered how long it took for them to call me with it last time.

Last time I wasn't as concerned because I hadn't been diagnosed with poly yet and even though I haven't been diagnosed technically with poly yet (at least I don't think I have) I do have a little extra fluid and I just want to rule it out.

I would love to hear back today but don't know if that's in the cards, but don't think it was more than a couple of days so hopefully I'll hear on Monday if I don't hear today.

Weekly Update Week 26

How far along? 26 Weeks

How big is baby? About 14 inches in length and weighs about 2lbs...

Weight gain/loss? My scale's battery is dead and I'm too lazy to replace it haha but I want to wait until at the doctors anyways....Still waiting to be weighed via my doctors scale...I did weigh myself at home and my weight was about what it was at the one doctors 2 weeks ago so I think her scale was wrong.

Maternity clothes? Pretty much all unless some things fit that aren't...All unless dresses

Stretchies? Same ones...can barely see the stomach ones that I got late with Ava, the boobs as usual....just on the boobs boooooo

Sleep? It's been rough. I not only have had the worst sciatic pain ever where no position helps but I have a sinus/upper respiratory infection and I wake not being able to breathe and coughing a lot....The past few nights were great even if I got up a couple of times to go to the bathroom...I think this was because Mr. B wasn't hope to be snoring and tossing and turning haha..I think I may have to resort to sleeping in the guest room.

Best moment this week? Another week closer to everything going well. Ali moved more than Ava did I swear....Another week down! Ava moving around like crazy

Movement? I thought Ava moved a lot...shoot Ali is surpassing her! seriously I think my girl may end up being a boxer! She is hitting/kicking/punching all over all the time. And she really dislikes it when I move from right to left on my side at night haha

Food cravings? I want some Rudy's Enchilada's and now really am considering having someone send them via dry ice to me once I figure out how much that will be haha....I've been bringing my lunch to work and just want a really good burger or Chinese buffet...something! nothing out of the ordinary but soda which really sucks

Food aversions/foods that make me sick? Nothing! nothing really whoot

Gender? Girl again! GIRL!!!!!

Labor signs? Just some Braxton Hicks...none..I have been having a little tightness but honestly I don't know if it's Braxton Hicks or not.

An outer-innie? Both but becoming more of an outtie with each passing day...both

What I miss? Sleeping...sleeping, and honestly drinking

What I am looking forward to? Uncle Ben is coming this weekend to get the guest bed so looking forward to that. And he actually has a nice shampooer not like the one we got that was broken...so once I get Ali's room cleared of the other stuff then I will pick next weekend maybe to shampoo everything! Well Uncle Ben couldn't come so looking forward to when someone can move the crap out and I can touch up paint and put together the furniture. We did get the shampooer so I'm going to shampoo her room around the two big items.

Milestones? Same as before! Another week honestly and some say into 3rd Trimester. Double Digits!!!!

New things this week? Getting the guest room cleared so we can start transforming it into Allison's room! Ava is moving so much....and I got excited about buying clothes...which I did haha

Weekly Wisdom? I haven't gotten any! Honestly I really haven't gotten any but I'm starting to get tons of folks asking me when I'm due...one lady today asked if I was expecting...she was trying to be nice but what if I wasn't? She would've still looked bad haha

Emotions? They are in check but we'll see how this weekend goes haha...In check and I hope to stay!
