My little girl...

is moving like crazy!

I am feeling stronger flutters everyday and even a few outside movements but not strong enough for Mr. B to feel since they are soft and sporadic.

I pretty much packed everything last night so that tonight I can tidy up the house and have outfits prepared to wear to work the next day since we won't get home until about 1:30am ughhh so not looking forward to that!

I decided to try on my shower dress (I won on ebay awhile back...brand new tags and so flippin cute) umm yeah...I look so cute belly down...boobs not so much. That medium is made for I would say a very small C or less. And folks I've joined the big D club so that ain't happening.

I stuffed my boobs in there and they looked like sausages...it was ugly.
And of course all my other cute summery dresses don't fit.
And the ones I wear everyday aren't summery showery like.

But I think I found something and maybe I'll find something in Dport when I get there eh...

Last night was the first night that Mr. B had gone out of town since we enforced the no Parle in bed rule. And I have to admit I almost cracked. Not even because he wanted to be in the bed (he's been such a good boy with going to his own) but I loved having his body touch some part of mine to feel safe even though he couldn't hurt an intruder.

But I made it through and got better sleep since Mr. B wasn't in there...(sorry love)

I can tell that as the months go I'll be sleeping in the guest room to move and kick and roll around as I please without worrying about him.

Auntie Katti called about food last night and we went over the menu for the shower...honestly I don't even care about presents I just want that food in my belly NOW!

I can't wait for all the hometown food places...you know 5 star such as
Bishop's

Hungry Hobo
Happy Joes
Village Inn
Belgian Village
and maybe
Old Chicago

But these are all great things I can't get here.
I'd love to get a gyro from Uncle Petes and get an enchilada from that Mexican place on 23rd ave that I can't remember but there isn't enough time.

It's a .....

GIRL!!!! I had this deep feeling it was and sure enough I was about the only one haha

Ava Grace it is! I truly love that name now.

She was moving around so much it took the tech so long to figure it out. In fact she was moving around so much she couldn't get all pictures of the heart so I get another u/s next visit which I'm pretty excited about :)

She was weighing in at 11oz on Thursday which on Saturday when I hit 20 weeks it says average size is about 10.5 ounces so my little girl probably will look like a butterball when she arrives haha

Her HB was 151 as well...

At first I could see a little disappointment on Mr. B's face (he was smiling and happy though) but then already I've been catching him touching my belly while sleeping and this morning he came in and I was kinda asleep and he kissed my bare belly...I mean how cute?!

Last night he said "I'm ready for her to get here" haha...so great coming from someone who it took a long time to convince we were ready to start trying.

My sciatica has been really acting up...propping pillows has yet to work bleh

well I think I'll take a Sunday nap.

Then I'm going to pull out the suitcases and start packing since we leave for Ltown right after work on Wednesday.

Weekly Update: Week 20

How far along? 20 Weeks

How big is baby? Cantaloupe

Weight gain/loss? 7lbs total

Maternity clothes? yes and no. I wear a lot of dresses that I've had so its technically normal clothes but you can tell I'm pregnant and I've bought a few shirts and a pair of jean capri's.

Stretchies? Still the ones on my boobs above my nipples which tells me the weight of my boobs has stretched my skin :(

Sleep? Anymore good for an hour or so then I have to pee, or shift, or let the damn dog out ugh

Best moment this week? Finding out the gender!

Movement? Feeling a few more flutters....listening on the doppler Butterball is moving a ton at night!

Food cravings? nothing really except when I get home everyday I like to drink some pickle juice...I did like it before but now every day I want it haha

Food adversions/foods that make me sick? I actually finally good on this y'all!!!!

Gender? It's a GIRL!!!!

Labor signs? none. It needs to stay that way!

Belly button in or out? More and more shallow by the day!

What I miss? Feeling energized

What I am looking forward to? cleaning out the closets in the babies room....feeling the baby move...and seeing my family

Milestones? Another week down! finding out the sex

New things this week? Bump continues to grow haha I love it honestly! Pooing twice a day! Knowing the sex

Randoms? Hips are still hurting, fatigue is in full force, hungry more, and in planner mode..oh and funny how the body changes...coughing or sneezing now feels very odd!

Weekly Wisdom? I'll be emotional the first week bringing baby home so I'll need a relaxing environment

Emotions? I have evened out I think...I'm still getting mad at my boss but she's the reason why.

Weight gain/loss? I don't know...we'll find out next week but I think total we're only at like 4-5 lbs..now this is starting at 2 months when I went to the doc

I just lurve Layla as I did Lyla but I'll get over that haha

Names and HB

Ok so we'll start with the HB. Mr. B wanted to check the little Butterball's HB out last night so I found it right away (roughly 150) anyways with our doppler if you move it around fast or hit the cord it sometimes makes this loud annoying sound (usually because I have it turned up high to hear better).

So I give the head phones to Mr. B and he's listening and then it starts making that noise and he's all "Quit moving it ugh" and did it again and he's like I'm done (it is quite loud on the ears)...

So then I take it and felt the kid on the doppler (I had it pressed down firm) and it made that same loud noise...and a few more times and I was like like "Mr. B this isn't me doing it...it's the butterball moving and kicking around forcefully" haha it was sooo cool!

I mean 8:30-9ish he/she is active let me tell you! Very cool

Now onto names...Jacob Michael is a go if it's a boy no doubt. And again it has nothing to do with Twilight.

Now for the girls...I've always wanted Chloe Elizabeth but now it's so popular (Ive wanted it for years) and now I'm really questioning it.

Of course Mr. B actually likes it...he's been so opposite of me on so much baby stuff!

And then Lyla came to mind...and I really love Lyla Grace. And he just thinks its ok. But like I can't get it out of my head!

So I started looking at other names.

I think I'm going to have him look through the name book and give me a top 5...because even though I've wanted Chloe for so long I just don't think so anymore and just because he likes it doesn't mean it's a go haha

Back to the drawing board.

11 Days we find out..actually less because we'll know by now next Thursday. Can't freaking wait!

Weekly Update: Week 18

How far along? 18 Weeks....some say hello 5th Month!

How big is baby? large bell pepper (5.5 inches and between 5 and 7 oz) or a Sweet Potato

Weight gain/loss? When I went to the doc last week I was 175 (gasp I told my weight) and that was up about a pound for the month....I got on my scale at home but like I said before it's not accurate. If I had to guess though I'll be up about another lb or two

Maternity clothes? yes and no. I wear a lot of dresses that I've had so its technically normal clothes but you can tell I'm pregnant and I've bought a few shirts and a pair of jean capri's.

Stretchies? I have found some on these massive things we call boobs folks. So sad...so I'm really applying the butter to them haha...so far so good on belly

Sleep? Great for a few hours and then my arms fall asleep or I have to shift or pea.

Best moment this week? I think I felt some flutters!

Movement? I think I felt a flutter this Monday but was so stressed with work that I let that go and haven't since.

Food cravings? nothing really except when I get home everyday I like to drink some pickle juice...I did like it before but now every day I want it haha

Food adversions/foods that make me sick? I actually finally good on this y'all!!!!

Gender? I guess I still have a feeling of girl but since so many are boy I've really been getting it in my head that it's a boy but now that I posted a new photo a lot of folks are saying girl...hah we'll see in less then 2 weeks now.

feel hiccups at 17.5 weeks?

I mean I think I just started to feel movement this week but for awhile there were a lot of movements every second or so and thought maybe this is the baby having hiccups but then I thought maybe I was just insane and maybe it was just my stomach acting a fool...haha

So excited that in 2 weeks and a day we'll find out what our little butterball is! I'm so excited that we'll know before our trip to Iowa since my GG is definitely throwing me a mini shower whoot!

It will be so great to see my girlfriends that I don't get to see except for once every two years or a friend I've rekindled with and it's been 8 y'all!!!!

And just so excited to see my family and see my cousins who are more like nieces and nephews and have them help me make a cake for the 4th, and see my aunt and brother an sister.

It'll be a lot of fun. Don't get me wrong I love them but I wish I was going to the beach too...I really wish we could've gone and met up with my aunt but oh well.

In 2 years when the butterball is big enough we'll go

How far along? 17 weeks. According to WTEWYE, this is the last week of month 4.

Best moment this week? Mr. B finally got to hear the ButterBall's HB on the doppler and then I tapped and he could hear it moving around haha We also bought our plane tickets to go home in just a month whoot

Emotions? I have been pretty steady on this surprisingly...before pregnancy I was an emotional mess and then nothing while I was pregnant but I am seeing I'm becoming more sensitive. Last night Mr. B and I had a tiff because he wants an LSU purple backpack diaper bag for when he takes the kid out. I don't want that for myself. I want a basic black one so that he could carry it. He got all upset saying I'm making all the decisions. To me it's not practical and I'm registering for 2 ok...and I told him when will you ever take the baby out without me? Let's me realistic. He was all WHATEVER just WHATEVER and I found myself in tears haha...He rolled over and I got over it though
