Yipeee

Not only am I caught up (17th post for the month) but Auntie Mel just told me that she will be coming up this weekend to hang out with me since Mr. B is going down to where we used to live.

I personally hate sleeping at the house alone so that's great but it will also be so much more fun having someone to watch the LSU game with and to drink with me while I clean haha

Plus it's auntie Mel!!!! I've missed her...it seems like forever since she came up for the LSU game!

I really should've been doing more today haha but I did two loads of laundry so I think that's a big step!

And there's no point in cleaning the bathrooms until closer since we'll be using them.

Good news is I got Goodwill to make the trip up here from NOLA even though normally he doesn't come until Thursday whooo

Plus I found a walker for my grandpa....it only took 18 places but I did it.

I also called the tanning place and even though she couldn't find my card she did find Mr. B's from before our wedding. He has 7 left so she's going to transfer them to me whoot!

Let me tell you about...

Do you know how hard it is to find a medical supply store in the Baton Rouge area that rents those suckers??

Try 18 places hard...and that's not even the walker my grandpa wants. He wanted a heavy duty one but I just couldn't find it le sigh

Good news is it was only 15 to rent for the entire month...but even to rent that bad boy for 7 days for 15 bucks to me is a steal.

So now I can check that off my ever GROWING list.

Curtain Update

On Friday when I got home guess what was at my door?
Apparently Elain felt bad and decided to drop it off haha

I had gone to Target to buy new cheaper curtains so I'll be returning them and I guess I got my favorite curtain for free! Hey I deserve it with all of the stress.

In the meantime Mr. B came in through the garage and saw the bedroom furniture and asked if I had bought new...I said well sort of I redecorated.

He was not happy whatsoever...however he was impressed that I moved that stuff all on my own without scuffing up the floors.

Eventually he calmed down and thought it looked "ok" because you know he couldn't actually say he liked it after all of that.

So I took some teaser pics that I'll post tonight since this is I think my Saturday post...and then I'll post for Sunday with the pics and today's post will be the LSU game pics haha

Trying to keep up is hard!

Grrr...

This post will actually be for yesterday because I will be updating tonight.
So I check the status of my curtain yesterday at work and success!!!! It was delivered.

I get home and nothing...I'm like seriously? There's noway someone stole this because we have this alcove by our door and it's hard to tell unless it's a big box which this wouldn't be and the two previous days nobody stole anything.

So I looked it up and it sure says delivered and a Elain signed for it...I thought well maybe that was the driver.

So I call USP and the automated thing says Elain signed for it at like 140 Del Orleans which is totally not my address haha

So I talk to a lady and she puts me to her supervisor. He says it was a two way system yada yada yada....basically UPS did the first part and then they hand it off to the USPS...stupid postal workers.

Theres no way you would get our addresses mixed up and she lives like 10-15 minutes from my house!!! And her name is Elain and mine is Nicole umm ok

Elain knew damn well that wasn't her package but signed for it and common sense would say even if she didn't look at it right away she would've walked into her house saw the name and ran outside and caught the mailman to give it back...or here's something how about mapquest and deliver my package biznatch!

So I call Target and the lady was like "do you know this Elain" I'm like ummm no if I did I would call her up and ask for it back duh.

So they credited me back the curtain which is cool because that included shipping and now I'll just go to Target myself and get one and save the 3.50

But I'm peeved because that curtain will really help make the room and I wanted it done in case Mr. B got home first and he could see my "vision" haha

I still need to hang the two floating shelves but he can help me with that and I need to get a chair from like the antique village or craigslist and redo it.

But it looks so much more grown up weeee...

Well I think I'll be safe since they were North of Atlanta and head to drive back all today and I think he has to go to the office first in order to get his truck.

But I have to work out and then run to the grocery so hopefully I can get it up before he gets home. I'm sure he's not going to be thrilled at first but maybe with me doing some cleaning last night he'll forgive me haha.

To Do List

okay...so I just wrote out my to do list for tonight and this is all my fault ok...Mr. B for one doesn't clean the house much and that's whatever I've gotten over that but when he's gone I like to just relax and not worry about anything until I'm like "shit he's going to be like so you didn't do anything while I was gone"....and yes I did put together a nightstand on Tuesday night but that's about it...last night I did much more but I have a shit ton to do and I have this much to do because I have to prepare for my grandparents arrival in less then 2 weeks...since football season my house has been neglected and they will want a tour and we're going to tell them to shower in our shower since it'll be easier stepping in and out.

So without further adieu
