So for the Summer Olympics I decided to do a around the world meal with beer and wine as well.
Mr. B loved it so much that I'm doing it again for the Winter Olympics.
Here is my menu
U.S.A.- Sliders
Spain- Empanada's
Italy- Pizza Dippin Strips
China- Shrimp and Pork Won tons
France- Brie En Croute
Germany- Some kind of beer
Belgium- Some kind of beer
Australia- Some kind of wine
And I'm probably going to get some other kind of wine from somewhere in South America or something like that!
Very exciting.
Both Mr. B and I haven't been feeling well. Poor Mr. B slept in the guest room again but he didn't have as much phelm and didn't get sick last night and was able to eat his Gumbo in peace haha.
I on the other hand woke up worse today....and with the snow really contemplated just working from home...but figured I'd probably leave early.
So on the way to work I ran to Walgreen's to buy Mr. B some TheraFlu and me some Airborne.
But of course I buy the Walgreen's version.
And lo and behold I went to pick up my WalBorne haha and it was buy 1 get one free!!! so I did
And then I went to get the WalFlu and it was buy 1 get one free! It was meant to be I tell you.
Anyways I just had my first one and put too much water in it but that combined with the delicious King Cake I am feeling much better. I think two or three more of these bad boys and I'll be ret to go!
I could honestly drink it everyday because I love the taste.
And I finally dropped off my Mexico pictures (water camera) so hopefully I get some good ones of that and can finish my big picture frame I have.

Taxes
Ok so I had everything done on our taxes except for our account with my grandfather which is an investment account.
I know that we actually did make money but since we didn't pull I figured it wouldn't be much.
He said they probably wouldn't send out the sheet until late next week and I honestly hate waiting on shit that I can control.
So he gave me some numbers that were probably over what it is just to be careful. He used to work for the IRS and let me tell you they are idiots who lose company vehicles and money ALL THE TIME! So he said well if you do get audited and they ask you where you came up with that number just tell them that you guessed and they'll say well you shouldn't do that...and then you say well I did and it was pretty close wasn't it...and then they'll say yes...hahaha
Anyways so with Federal and State combined we're getting back exactly 4 G's baby! Why am I so happy that this is 1k less then last year you ask?!
Because Mr. B made about 17k less this year then last but we only got back 1k less in a refund meaning we kept more of our money throughout the year and we're still getting a nice little bonus in the end. yessssss
Yes I would've loved for it to be 5k because that would mean an extra 1k in savings but we'll still be good.
We're going to pay off the Best Buy card which I think is like 850ish if I'm correct.
Then Mr. B gets a new sports jacket, I get new black riding boots, and we need a new router and house phone.
Then I think we're going to get a Wii and a Blue Ray player and the rest will go into savings.
Oh and we'll buy a damn battery for my Escort so we can sell that damn thing!
oh oh oh and I made reservations for Commander's Palace for when we're in New Orleans in a couple of weeks. I'm beyond thrilled that Mr. B and I will go to a really fancy restaurant because we haven't done that just us two since my oh I think 23rd birthday. That's over 2 years!

Sick
Ugh...so Tuesday night I started to have a sore throat but disregarded it. Then yesterday I still had it.
Last night Mr. B get's home and he's sick.
He has a lot of phelm etc and its getting caught up so he throws up a couple of times. I get him TheraFlu, Ibprophen, water, powerade, a thermometer, tissues etc.
He's such a doll and this is why I love him more and more everyday because he slept in the guest room so I wouldn't hear him hacking up that crap all night long...I mean what a great man!
I didn't even hear him come in and take a shower or get dressed...barely even woke up for him to kiss me.
But when I woke up...ugh I felt like a truck had run over me! Seriously poop. I brought an orange so hopefully the Vitamin C will help.
On the way to work it was sleeting a little...guuuureat! They say we could get 3-5 inches of snow tonight and if that's the case folks I'm not going to work tomorrow. I'll just work from home.
So much stuff may or may not happen this weekend.
Auntie Mel may come up and we'll go to dinner with the guy she's been on a few dates with who seems nice.
But then Uncle Luke and his girl were going to come up on Saturday but then said Friday but then now Saturday maybe???
Either way Saturday night I'm making a fancy Valentine's dinner like I did last year.
I've got a whole list of appetizers and some salads but haven't embarked on the main course, and sides yet.
I threw around making Creme Brulee but Mr. B said he'd rather my bread pudding...and if I make my bread pudding I'll add some of the stuff Auntie Stacy told me she changed.
The main system I need to do work here today at work will be down in a few minutes for the rest of the day ugh...then I only have 2 other little things I can depend on but all co-exist with the big one so who knows what I'll get done...maybe I'll find my complete menu.
And if we don't go out to dinner with Auntie Mel I want to do my FOOD AND DRINKS AROUND THE WORLD for the Winter Olympics like I did for the Summer one's.
And if it was all snowy and cold outside I think that would be even better!
I haven't been to the gym all week because I've been trying to get caught up on chores at home and then last night didn't feel well and work ran a little late...but I've got no excuses tonight...I must go tonight and tomorrow night!

Sugar Doll Award
The beautiful lovely Jin gave me a Sugar Doll Award. I am supposed to give it out to 5 Bloggers but that will have to be for a different day haha
I am taking baby steps...like 1. was announcing I got an award a while back...2. Is actually saying 10 things about myself (which is a requirement in receiving the award)...3. Giving the award to 5 other bloggers.
I'm working on it folks!
ok so 10 Things you didn't know about me before...
1. I have this OCD issue with numbers being on odd numbers but only with alarms and volumes. So like when I set my daily alarm is either has to be a 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9 however I don't like using 5 at all. My preferences are always 1 and 7 i.e. 7:31 or 7:37am...car radio's if they have an actual number I like them to be odd too.
2. When doing things like decorating everything has to have a partner or equal itself out. I don't like mis matchy things...another OCD issue apparently.
3. I'm left handed. Growing up all throughout elementary there was just one other kid and myself. Brian Nagle...he ended up playing QB for Navy and went on to MIT...he's very smart haha
4. I am obsessed with watching late night tv on TV Land. I love Roseanne and Golden Girls...I secretly think about how when I'm older if Mr. B dies before me I want to live with women like that hah
5. Most people's first impressions of me are that I'm a big ol bitch...but it's just that I tell it like it is. I don't have time for fakeness in my life and I don't have time for you if you're well useless, classless, dramatic, ignorant, racist, or a bitch. I've been told many times by my friends that they heard all these bad things about me but when they actually hung out with me they realized I'm one of the most caring, loving, hilarious, but feisty friends they've ever had. They know I have their backs through thick and thin. Nobody hurts my family or friends. And some people just can't handle my big personality. Don't get me wrong what I just typed made it sound like a raging bitch and I'm not really I promise...but the older I get the less time I have for BS. But if you need someone at 4am to cry on or bail you out of jail I'm your girl forever and always.
6. I want breast implants...always have and always will until I get them. I once went in for a consultation after I had gained a lot of weight due to BC so they were bigger then normal and he said well he wouldn't recommend it...then he proceeded to say I could do this, this, and that and remove that 3rd nipple...I said excuse me?! Ok folks it's a tiny mole under one of my boobs...that's when I realized he wasn't the doctor for me...and because I was so upset with him we spent the money on a new bedroom set haha but hey we still have that bedroom set, and those B boobs, and that "third nipple". But after my first or second kid I will be getting them...Mr. B already said so :)
7. I'm obsessed with teeth. Every day I look at my teeth and find things wrong with them. I am now convinced my teeth are shifting and that I may need invisoline...I've never needed braces and that's something I was very proud of but now I may :( well no doctor would but they would give me invisoline...maybe
8. Since my husband has lost weight (he did get this before but not as much) he's gotten a lot of people asking if he used to play Professional Football. He's very broad and big...that's a huge turn on to me and I become proud even though he got hurt in college and couldn't continue playing.
9. My biggest vice is US Weekly, and many reality shows...my favorites are the Real Housewives series...Facebook, message boards all of that junk...can't help it...will never change
10. Geez this is tough...I hate feet. But think I have pretty cute feet haha except for my second toe on my left foot..its bigger then my big toe and was broken oh I guess about a year ago and it kind of healed wrong and now it turns down and towards my big toe more instead of straight and it drives me crazy. If I had endless amounts of money I would get it corrected....SHUT UP and quit giving me those side eyes...I know there are freakish things about all of you that you'd change.
And I'm finally done...wow I'm a fucked up individual hah

ShoeDazzle
Ok thanks to Jin (geez you'd think she's like my idol or something :) )
Soooo let me know if you like any of these shoes and which ones I should get (I mean just one pair) Mr. B wouldn't be happy with anymore then that.

I signed up for Shoe Dazzle. It's a site where you sign up and taking some quiz like thing and everything month they send you 5 shoes and if you pick they charge you 30 bucks and you get the shoes...if you don't like any you don't get charged and you wait until next month.
Well my January shoe list I didn't care for much and then February came and I kind of like some but then just got an email today about the new shoe called the Wynn which some of the proceeds go to help fight Heart Disease in women which is the number 1 killer of women.
Soooo let me know if you like any of these shoes and which ones I should get (I mean just one pair) Mr. B wouldn't be happy with anymore then that.

Okay so...
I knew if I blogged about it, it would happen. And by it I mean her...haha
So I guess I'm going with a 34ish day cycle....eh whatev's...the Saints are going the Super Bowl that's all I really care about now haha
I can't even breathe at work I mean I know I say that in every post but it's true.
I really hope this call today is about a raise...I really really hope so. And if it is I'm going to fake Mr. B out and say oh it was the same ol "you're doing so great we appreciate you so much crap" and he'll buy it.
And then maybe I'll have a really good work out since I'll be so happy haha and then when he gets home I can tell him....well only if it's good news :)
Some good news though....
I've been awarded a blogger award!!!! I'll post about that tonight since there are some things to it.

drowning
ugh...still no hope for any relaxation.
I'm so behind on this and you all know how much I used to love to blog.
i have so many pictures to post and so many weekends.
well i thought I was getting my period but then it really never came...but i know in like 2 days it'll show up out of the blue so I'm not thinking I'm pregnant..
although i have some killer heartburn
tomorrow I'll be getting a call from my boss and my bigger boss...apparently they're calling everyone in my position and my boss made it sound like it could be good.
it better be the raise we're hoping for. I'm thinking it won't just be a set price for everyone because some of us are doing more...so hopefully I can blog about good news tomorrow!
